Cardiology Supplements for Trial Implementation.
The IHE Cardiology Technical Committee (TC) has published two profiles for trial implementation to be tested at IHE Connectathons beginning in January
2008:

*Displayable Reports (DRPT)

*Evidence Documents Profile Cardiology Domain Options: Stress Testing & CT/MR Angiography

The Cardiology TC published one supplement to theTechnical Framework for
public comment. Comments can be submitted to the online discussion forums. To be considered for incorporation in the Trial Implementation version of this supplement, comments must be submitted by July 16, 2007.

*Implantable Device Cardiac Observation - IDCO (major update to 2006-2007 version)

In addition, the Cardiology TC published one new whitepaper:

IT Infrastructure Supplements for Public Comment. The IHE IT Infrastructure Technical Committee has published the documents for public comment. Please click here.

*Web Services for IHE Transactions (Appendix V). This update to Appendix V, which was introduced last year as part of the Registry Stored Query Supplement, presents the general approach to specifying Web Services
as the protocol for IHE transactions.

*Retrieve Form for Data Capture (RFD). This update to RFD includes an upgrade in referenced standards as well as a slightly expanded scope. Itis being released for public comment a second year to encourage expanded
input on this important supplement.

*Cross-Enterprise User Assertion (XUA). XUA provides a means to communicate claims about the user identity of an authenticated principal in transactions that cross enterprise boundaries.

*Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing - b (XDS.b). XDS.b provides a new implementation choice for the Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) Integration Profile based on a use of the Web Services and ebXML
Registry/Repository standards that is consistent with the current developments and best practices in the industry.

*Cross Community Access (XCA). XCA supports access of patient healthinformation across communities. It is the first step in realizing the vision described in the white paper published last year entitled "Cross Community Information Exchange".

*Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) Patient Identity Merge. This supplement describes the processing of the merge message by XDS actors.

*XDS Affinity Domain Checklist White Paper. This White Paper proposes a new checklist that covers all areas that should be addressed when either setting up an XDS Affinity Domain, or extending the XDS Profile so that it meets the requirements of a particular nation, region, or institution.

To be considered for incorporation in the Trial Implementation version of these supplements, comments must be submitted by July 16, 2007. All comments can be submitted to the online discussion forums.
