IHE Europe News Pulse: 4th World Summit Comes to the 2020 Connectathon

March 24-25, 2020 will see the 4th IHE International WORLD SUMMIT and annual IHE-Europe SYMPOSIUM join forces in Brussels creating an exciting, vibrant two-day meeting on the theme of “Interoperability in eHealth”.

This unique event will connect stakeholder representatives and IHE enthusiasts from around the world and feature thought leaders on topics of international standards, interoperability, patient-centered care, information exchange and electronic health records. It will provide a superb learning experience for all those who are not just interested, but want to play an active part in shaping the future of eHealth.

The event will showcase high-level international presentations from influential organisations like WHO (World Health Organisation) and EC (European Commission), plus panel discussions facilitating the opportunity to interact with global experts in interoperability and building on previous WORLD SUMMITS and Symposia.

Above all else there will be plenty of opportunity to network and gain first-hand experience and exposure to what empirically works in eHealth, both in the meeting and during organised VIP tours of the Connectathon Floor.

Taking place at the famous Brussels Autoworld Centre, in the heart of Europe, it is the pivotal event during the 2020 IHE-Europe Connectathon Week and is ideally suited for strategic leaders, decision makers, systems architects, IT specialist organisations, and those involved in both developing and deploying eHealth solutions at local, regional, national and international levels.

An exciting scientific programme is being assembled and will be complemented by social events offering great networking opportunities and a suite of parallel events that comprise Connectathon Week and enable a visit to the Connectathon Floor.

Put simply: The WORLD SUMMIT is a must attend event in the interoperability calendar, so make the decision to attend or at very least - bookmark the site and watch the programme unfold.
