IHE Europe News Pulse:  2020 Brussels Connectathon Registration is Extended

A Happy 2020 to you all and we trust that you have benefitted from a well-earned break. At last the long-awaited 2020 has arrived, along with a “New Decade of Interoperability”.
What better place to start than the 2020 IHE-Europe Connectathon Week that takes place in Brussels, 23-27 March, at the renowned Autoworld Centre.

In response to a number of requests we are delighted to announce that the Connectathon registration deadline has now been extended to January 24 2020.
Connectathon Registration has been open since 29 November 2019 and the website has been extremely busy. You now have until midnight Friday January 24 2020 to register your systems and your attendees. There are still a few ‘newcomer packages’ at really preferential prices remaining, but do act with all haste to take advantage of them.

Please refer to the updated Connectathon Whitepaper to identify specific opportunities for testing the interoperability of your products in this structured and controlled environment with peer vendors. Using real world clinical scenarios, following IHE Integration Profile specifications and utilising the Gazelle Test Bed you are assured of state-of-the-art testing, verified by the renowned IHE Monitors.

The 2020 Connectathon Week features the most expansive series of parallel events yet, comprising national and international events focussing on education, policies and deployment initiatives for eHealth and mHealth interoperability, with the pivotal 4th IHE International World Summit, “Interoperability in eHealth,” 24-25 March. Further details on all the events can be found on the appropriate Connectathon Week web page.

This makes attendance at the 2020 IHE-Europe Connectathon essential for healthcare IT companies, large and small, all of which leads to savings in time, cost and resources.
